A new burger franchise has its eyes set on Houston.
H-Town could soon welcome The Burger House, a Dallas-based hamburger and fry joint.
Since opening as a neighborhood hangout in 1951, the Burger House has lampooned into a Texas favorite with seven restaurants in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and an eighth eatery in Lubbock. In 2009, Burger Hut was named the top hamburger place in Texas by the top-selling book “Hamburger America”.
The eatery hopes to settle into its new Houston digs in 2012 and is currently scouring the area for a location in the Rice Village/University.
