Kelly Ripa just inked a new 5-year deal to stay on as co-host for the show Live! With Regis And Kelly.
Ripa celebrated her 10-year anniversary on the show earlier this year. The new contract will extend her tenure through at least 2017, putting 16 years of showtime under her belt.
Deadline.com reports, the new deal between Ripa and Disney-ABC Domestic Television will start in the fall of 2012 after Ripa’s current contract expires.
The new deal comes just as Ripa prepares for veteran talk show host Regis Philbin’s departure on November 18. A permanent co-host has yet to be found, in the meantime Ripa will chalk it up with guest co-hosts as the search to replace Regis continues.
