Piers Morgan has announced next season will be his last on “America’s Got Talent”.

Morgan made the announcement on his CNN program “Piers Morgan Tonight” where he thanked “America’s Got Talent” creator Simon Cowell for the opportunity.

After a six-year stint as judge, the no-nonsense Morgan will leave to focus on other upcoming news events like the 2012 U.S. presidential election.
