Grammy winner and actress Vanessa Williams has signed a talent holding deal with ABC to headline a new project after her current “Desperate Housewives” gig ends.
Williams is no stranger to ABC. The actress has enjoyed a comfy spot on the network for six consecutive seasons – four years on “Ugly Betty” and two seasons in her current spot with “Desperate Housewives”.
The network and actress are working to extend their business relationship with a new one hour or thirty minute series slated for the fall.
