Tickets are on sale now for the 2011 Cinema Arts Festival Houston (CAFH) happening November 9-13. The fest is devoted to films by and about artists in the visual, performing and literary arts.
This year’s program involves a collaboration among several of Houston’s film and arts institutions, including the Museum of Fine Arts Houston and the Menil Collection.
CAFH is more than a traditional film festival; it is an energetic multimedia arts festival wit live performances, outdoor projects, and interactive video installations allowing the public to become active in the artistic experience.
Festival programming also includes “Meet the Makers,” a free education series of workshops and panels on a variety of topics related to the art of filmmaking.
