This Thursday at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston – discover what the latest research reveals about the death of King Tut and how changes in the pharoah’s role during his dynasty nearly destroyed the Egyptian Empire.

Examine the mystery surrounding the famous Egyptian pharoah.  Why did the boy-King Tutankhamun die at at an early age?  Who were his parents?  Was his death a political murder?

Join Dr. Bob Brier, also known as “Mr. Mummy” in this special lecture “Embodiment of Empire: Tutankhamun and the Pharaohs of Egypt”.  Brier has conducting pioneering research in mummification practices worldwide and is a specialist in paleopathology, the study of diseases in the ancient world.
