Urban Harvest will host a week of Citrus Tasting at three Farmers Markets from November 27th thru December 3rd.
FREE and open to the public, the weeklong festivity shares the visual and tasting experience of unusual citrus varieties that are available to grow and cook in Houston. The event will also share information on fruit that you can grow in your yard.
Try unique lemons, oranges, pumelos, kumkauts, limes and grapefruit and find out tips on how to cook using citrus for holiday meals and festivities.
Chef German Mosquera from Ruggles Green will prepare an appetizer for visitor’s to enjoy.
